How do you use body butter?
Apply body butter after you have taken a bath or shower. After you have finished your bath or shower, dry your body with a towel. A top tip is to leave some moisturizer on your skin, but not dry it completely.
Apply a generous amount of body butter to your skin. Massage the butter into your skin with firm, broad strokes, until it is fully absorbed. You don't want to use too much and you can always add another layer if your skin feels dry.
Pay special attention to your elbows and knees when applying body butter. These areas are more susceptible to dryness so a thick layer of body butter will be beneficial to nourish them.
Use body butter right after you shower to lock in moisture Body butter can be used at any hour of the day or night.
However, the best way to ensure moisture retention is to apply body butter within five minutes of showering. Hot water can dry your skin, so make sure it is warm (... but not too hot! After showering, apply your chosen hydrating cream to your skin. Body butter should be used daily if you have dry skin. If you have oily or normal skin, you might only need to apply body butter once a week.

It's best to apply the body butter only lightly before going to bed. Because the body butter will be absorbed into the skin more slowly while you sleep.
